Progress in +1 DMG FPS comes from several systems that feed one another but use different displays. Accurate hits grow DMG, completed stages lead to reward pads, Medals or Trophies buy guns and Buddy capsules, equipped helpers add pressure, and Rebirth trades some current progress for a stronger Power baseline. The fastest way to get stuck is to treat all of those numbers as one currency.

This hub separates each decision. Start with Damage when the hit counter is confusing, Medals when the reward and shop loop is unclear, Rebirth when a reset becomes available, and Buddies when a capsule result is not appearing in combat.

The core progression loop

1. Build

Train and land shots. The official rule is +1 DMG for each successful hit; misses and unsupported damage interactions should not be counted as guaranteed growth.

2. Clear

Enter a numbered corridor, follow the enemy counter, and finish the current stage target rather than leaving after one kill.

3. Claim

Locate the reward pad, read the displayed amount, activate it, and confirm the balance change. A clear and a credited reward are separate checks.

4. Improve

Spend toward a named gun or capsule, confirm the item is equipped, and compare it under the same conditions before calling it an upgrade.

5. Preview

Read the Rebirth requirement, Power change, and reset confirmation. Eligibility alone does not decide the best moment.

6. Repeat

Return to training or a manageable stage with the new setup, then push only when ordinary enemies clear consistently.

Diagnose the current bottleneck

If the DMG display does not move, test one clean hit on a normal target before changing anything else. If DMG rises but a stage still takes too long, check whether the gun is equipped, the Buddy is active, and the current Power value matches what you expected after Rebirth. If a stage clears but the wallet does not support the next purchase, confirm the reward pad was claimed and repeat a reliable route.

If every ordinary stage feels easy but a later corridor or boss-sized enemy stops you, the bottleneck may be preparation rather than raw damage. Claim the completed run, compare one gun upgrade, equip the best available Buddies, and read Rebirth. Do not change gun, Buddy, boosts, and Rebirth state simultaneously; you will not know which change helped.

Keep the main displays separate

Display
What it answers
Do not assume
DMG
Whether successful hits are increasing your damage value.
That every weapon, Buddy hit, critical hit, or boost follows one unpublished formula.
Level
Your account's current level and some dated Rebirth eligibility checks.
That it is the same as shop currency or a hard requirement above every stage.
Medals / Trophies
The visible reward or shop balance in the current interface.
That two labels prove two wallets or a conversion rate.
Power
The before-and-after boost shown by early Rebirth panels.
That the first two observed values define every later Rebirth.
Recommended Lv
A readiness hint seen above some stage entrances.
That the recommendation is always an enforced gate or a perfect clear target.

Damage: favor repeatable hits

The official description is unusually clear about one mechanic: shooting enemies grants +1 DMG, and you grow stronger with every hit. Build around that confirmed relationship. Choose a target you can keep on screen, use a controllable gun, and avoid empty firing. If changing to a more expensive weapon lowers your accuracy or creates long pauses, the purchase may not improve your real progression rate.

The public material does not establish whether every pellet, splash event, Buddy attack, shield impact, or critical zone adds to the same counter. Test those questions one at a time. The Damage Progression guide provides a small observation routine without pretending to be a universal calculator.

Medals: turn clears into buying power

Official copy says Medals unlock better guns. Community recordings show reward pads and shops that sometimes use “Trophy” wording. The safe route is to complete the visible enemy target, read and claim the reward pad, confirm the balance, and compare it with one desired price. Do not assume every enemy pays the same amount or that an account balance narrated in a video is one-stage income.

The Medals guide explains how to keep reward, balance, and price separate. It also gives a fixed-route comparison so you can judge clear-time improvements without publishing a guessed per-minute rate.

Rebirth: read before resetting

Rebirth is officially advertised as a huge power boost. Dated September walkthroughs agree on two early examples: the first Rebirth at Level 29 with Power previewed from 1× to 1.5×, and the second at Level 71 with 1.5× to 2×. Those rows are useful for recognizing the panel, but the current live requirement and reset confirmation take priority.

Before accepting, claim the current stage reward, note the active gun and Buddy setup, inspect what the confirmation says will reset, and plan the first training stop after the reset. The Rebirth guide separates “eligible” from “ready” and does not extrapolate later requirements.

Buddies: equip the result

Buddies are helpers shown fighting alongside the player in current walkthroughs. The important workflow is capsule, result, inventory, equip, then combat observation. A pulled Buddy sitting in inventory adds no visible help until it occupies an active slot. Use Equip Best when available, then watch the next stage for companion attacks.

Current recordings show Basic, Rare, and Legendary capsule labels, an Index, stock, and a timer, but they do not supply a durable complete drop table. Use the live Index for current odds and stats. The Buddy guide includes a “currently documented” Dex that deliberately leaves unsupported names and probabilities out.

Early, middle, and later decisions

Early in a run, optimize comprehension: stable controls, the first robot, reward claiming, one affordable gun, and one equipped Buddy. In the middle, optimize consistency: clear the same corridor with less downtime, compare a planned gun, save toward a known cost, and check Rebirth readiness. Later, optimize around the current wall: ordinary enemies, a boss encounter, shop cost, or reset value.

Avoid measuring a heavily boosted creator account against your free route. Paid trainers, currency boosts, premium weapons, codes, and prior Rebirths can change every visible number. Use a video to understand the menu sequence, not to promise your own clear time.

Progression mistakes that waste time

  • Grinding after a clear without confirming the reward pad.
  • Spending the entire balance on several untested items instead of one target.
  • Opening Buddy capsules without checking equipped slots.
  • Treating one stage recommendation as an exact damage formula.
  • Rebirthing because the button unlocked without reading the reset message.
  • Comparing two guns after also changing Buddy, boosts, and stage.
  • Calling a dated community number an official permanent rule.

Progress log that remains useful after updates

Record the check date, current stage, equipped gun, shown currency label and balance, current level, Rebirth count, Power display, active Buddies, and the next visible cost. Keep exact stage rewards and shop prices attached to their date. That note lets you notice a balance change without confusing it with a different account setup.

When your server differs from this guide, follow the current panel. Unknown retention rules, later Rebirth requirements, complete Buddy probabilities, weapon statistics, and stage rewards still need live observation; none of them should block you from using the confirmed loop safely.

Checked October 6, 2026: Roblox's official description supports hit growth, Medals, guns, Rebirth, and areas. Menu routes and early numeric examples are community corroborated or community reported and remain dated.
