Defender of Earth Badge Guide

Earn the official +1 DMG FPS Defender of Earth badge by destroying your first robot and troubleshoot a delayed or missing award.

Defender of Earth is the official first milestone for +1 DMG FPS. Roblox’s badge record gives one direct objective: Destroy your first robot. The record belongs to Universe 10717002748 and names the same [W2] +1 DMG FPS experience covered by this site.

Join the correct game

Open the Mappy Tappy experience with Place ID 100753254401525. Similar “+1 DMG” games have different developers, mechanics, and badges. Confirm the description says shooting enemies grants +1 DMG and mentions Medals, guns, Rebirth, and areas.

The [W2] title tag can change, so use developer and Place ID rather than requiring an exact title string.

Destroy the first robot

At spawn, identify training and the Stage 1 entrance. Train enough to understand the display, then enter the stage and target an ordinary AI robot. Keep firing until the robot is destroyed. Follow the visible stage counter and remain in the experience long enough for the result to register.

The official badge objective does not require a named gun, stated minimum level, Rebirth, Buddy, paid trainer, or specific stage reward. Do not add those requirements unless the current client explicitly introduces them.

Confirm the award

Watch for the in-game or Roblox badge notification. You can also open the official experience’s badge list on Roblox after the session. A delayed notification does not necessarily mean the award failed, so check the account record before repeating the route many times.

The public API confirms the badge is enabled. It does not publish the exact server-side timing, shared-kill ownership, damage threshold, or retroactive-award behavior.

If the badge does not appear

  1. Confirm the developer is Mappy Tappy and the Place ID is correct.
  2. Destroy an ordinary robot yourself rather than relying only on Buddy damage or another player’s final hit.
  3. Stay through the destruction and any immediate result state.
  4. Check the Roblox badge record outside the pop-up.
  5. Rejoin a fresh normal server and repeat with the starter or a clearly equipped gun.
  6. If Roblox services are broadly delayed, wait and check the account record later.

These steps are troubleshooting, not extra badge requirements. They isolate identity, personal credit, equipment state, and delayed delivery.

Shared fights and Buddies

The official one-line objective does not explain how shared damage is credited. If another player or Buddy destroys the target and the badge does not arrive, repeat on a robot where your own equipped gun clearly delivers the finishing damage. Do not claim that shared kills never count; the checked source does not settle that rule.

Likewise, Buddy attacks may help clear enemies, but public material does not prove their hit or kill ownership for this badge. Use a controlled personal kill when troubleshooting.

Badge versus stage completion

The badge objective is tied to the first destroyed robot, while stage completion can require a larger enemy counter and a separate reward claim. Earning Defender of Earth does not mean the stage reward was collected. Continue the corridor, finish the counter, and use the reward pad if your goal is progression.

Conversely, if you completed a stage but never saw the badge, check the Roblox record and repeat the controlled first-robot route. Do not assume the reward pad grants the badge.

What the badge does not prove

Complete tutorial

The badge proves the first-robot objective, not that every training, shop, Buddy, or Rebirth step is complete.

Stage reward

A destroyed robot and a claimed reward pad are separate progression events.

World 2 access

The `[W2]` title does not make this badge proof of a specific World 2 unlock.

Full badge roster

The checked universe API currently returns this badge; one result does not prove no future badges will be added.

After the badge

Finish the visible enemy target, claim the pad, check the wallet, and visit the gun shop with one purchase goal. If aiming caused trouble, open Controls. If the route is unclear, continue to Areas and Stages. The badge should mark the beginning of the loop, not the end of the session.

Quick answers

What is the requirement?

Roblox’s official badge description says “Destroy your first robot.”

Do I need a certain gun or level?

No such requirement is stated in the official badge record. Use a clearly equipped gun and an ordinary robot.

Why did my friend get it but I did not?

Check correct game identity, personal kill credit, notification delay, and the Roblox badge record. Repeat on a controlled target in a fresh server if needed.

Is this the only badge?

It is the only badge returned by the checked universe badge API on October 6, 2026. More can be added later.

Official source: Roblox badge API for Universe 10717002748, checked October 6, 2026. The enabled badge is Defender of Earth and its published description is “Destroy your first robot.” Trigger timing and shared-kill behavior still need live testing.
